BC3 Basque Centre for Climate Change – Klima Aldaketa Ikergai is an excellence research centre created in 2008 as jointly promoted by the Basque Government and the University of the Basque Country, with the goal of contribute of knowledge on the causes and impacts of climate change. BC3 expects to contribute strong to the cogeneration of new scientific knowledge and the consolidation of science support relevant to policy making at different scales, that includes understand and linking social and policy processes and promote routine communication between parts in all governance levels. BC3 supports for a multidisciplinary and multicultural team of researchs connected with universitys, research centres u organizations worldwide.–BC3 Basque Centre for Climate Change – Klima Aldaketa Ikergai 2008an Eusko Jaurlaritzak eta UPV/EHUk sustatutako BERC, hau da, bikaintasunezko ikerketa zentru bat da. BC3aren xede estrategikoa, klima-aldaketaren ingurumen-dimentsioak, eta dimentsio sozioekonomikoak eta etikoak kontutan hartuta, erabakiak hartzeko beharrezkoa dan ezagutza zientifikoa sortzea da. Horretarako, BC3aren ikerlariak disziplina anitzekoak eta kultura ezberdinetakoak dira, mundu mailako unibertsitate, instituzio eta eragile desberdinekin elkarlanean daudenak ezagutzaren abangoardian egoteko .–BC3 Basque Center for Climate Change – Klima Aldaketa Ikergai es un centro de investigación de excelencia BERC creado en 2008 como iniciativa conjunta del Gobierno Vasco y la UPV/EHU. El objetivo estratégico de BC3 es promover la coproducción de conocimiento para la toma de decisiones, integrando las dimensiones ambientales, socioeconómicas y éticas del cambio climático. Para ello, BC3 cuenta con un equipo multidisciplinar y multicultural de investigadores e investigadores conectados con universidades, instituciones y agentes internacionales que nos permiten estar en la vanguardia del conocimiento.
